This year, we are excited to join the celebration of the RoundstoneForFun Bicentennial Summer Party, a milestone event that promises to be both a festive occasion and a significant fundraiser for our beloved town.
About the Bicentennial Summer Party
Scheduled for August 5th, 2024, the Bicentennial Summer Party marks a special occasion in the heart of Roundstone. This year, the event promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring live music, local cuisine, traditional games, and a vibrant parade. The highlight of the day will undoubtedly be the grand fireworks display, symbolising the community’s enduring spirit and commitment to making a positive impact.
Tickets are available at €50.00 each, providing access to all the day’s activities and contributing directly to the fundraising efforts.
Supporting Medical Research and Community Development
The primary goal of the RoundstoneForFun events has always been to raise funds for vital causes. This year, the proceeds from the Bicentennial Summer Party will be channelled towards medical research and the development of the Roundstone Community Centre. These initiatives not only enhance the quality of life for residents but also contribute to broader scientific advancements that can benefit many.
100% of the money donated goes to support medical research and the community centre.
The funds will support research projects focused on critical health issues, ensuring that our community remains at the forefront of medical innovation. Additionally, the development of the Community Centre will provide a hub for local activities, foster social connections, and provide a venue for various events and gatherings.

- 2020: Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, the community came together virtually and through smaller gatherings, raising funds for essential medical research and local initiatives.
- 2019: This year’s event was a spectacular success, raising over €7,000, which was equally divided between breast cancer research and the Roundstone Community Centre.
- 2018: The community demonstrated its generosity once again, supporting local healthcare services and the development of communal facilities.
